Oops I think my water broke...

i have no idea why this little one was in such a hurry to get here. in fact i wasn't even sick of being pregnant! i woke up to a wet bed on the morning of March 9th... and when its six weeks before your due date i for sure thought that i had just peed my pants! i knew it was a little more serious when i called my doctor who said "head down immediately!"

so there i was having a baby on a dark snowy morning at 2am on March 10th! it felt like a dream but he was here. this baby Danny & I have waited for so long was finally here.

Fletcher Michael Booth - 4 pounds 7 ounces, - 18 inches long....

of course Danny and I manage to do everything a little different, our baby was rushed off to the NICU for a little help with his lungs. he had a ruff first few weeks being poked and strung with wires, as new parents you can only imagine how hard it was for us to watch.

but here he is healthy and strong our perfect little baby boy!
i love you so much....



it's hard to come into this life and not have mommy's touch.
i know the doctors mean to help but i miss her so much.
we had many months together when i was tucked inside. now we're
lonely for each other and we both have cried and cried. but someone
gave my mommy a hanky to hold tight. she sleeps and holds it close to her
it's filled with love each night. when mommy comes to see me she
puts it by my skin. it makes me feel so happy 'cause i feel my mom again
i love these little hankies they work just like a charm.
and i'll cuddle, smell, and hold them tight till i'm back
in mommy's arms.

My Baby Shower...

i just got back from California where i was showered with beautiful gifts. Chelsey and Sara threw the coolest baby shower for me, as you'll see in the photos which Sara took!!! if you weren't there they'll make you feel like you were. just want to thank everyone for making me feel so special and loved. it was such a fun day, i loved every minute of it!!!!

Our Mexican Christmas...

i have to say, my plan of a Mexican Christmas vacation turned out exactly how i envisioned it! We had the perfect set up for the family literally right on the beach in Playa del Carmen and in the middle of the 5th ave strip. this was a much needed vacation that took a couple of days for everyone to unwind from their busy lives, but mexico seems to have the perfect formula to do just that.

First Crib...

just purchased this beauty yesterday! who would of thought black but it has really grown on me & it was the one on sale. i'm actually really excited about it! i can't wait for this little guy to come, the count down is just around the corner... don't you think he'll look so cute in his new crib!!!

Yippy.....

Danny & I are thrilled to be expecting a little boy, after a long run of unsuccessful attempts! its hard to get it through my head that this is really happening. i guess it makes it that much more exciting for us.

my pregnancy so far has been a breeze. this little boy must be real content in there cause he has given me no trouble. seeing him squirming around was such an amazing thing to see. you would never guess he'd been frozen at one point!

this was well worth the fight i gave to have my dream come true... we are so grateful to be having this experience in our lives and thank all who have supported us along the way. couldn't have done it without all of you and Goldman Sachs for such great insurance!

Logan to Jackson Hole

Here are some pics of Danny's race in September. I've been a major slacker in the blogging world so I'm doing a little catch up.... The race is 206 miles starting in Logan. They had a team of 5 and relayed all the way to Jackson. It was quite the event and was a very long day. The team took 9th in their division, not too shabby! We had a great time and hope to be apart of it next year...

summer races @ sundance...

one of my favorite places in Utah is Sundance, such a beautiful scene. Danny & I have loved coming up here for his Wednesday night races. we are sad to see it come to an end, Danny had definitely gotten some good training and got better every time! he's getting ready for the 24 hrs of Moab coming up in October. his next race coming up is in 2 wks, a relay race from Logan to Jackson Hole! 50 miles on a seat sounds like fun right? so i'll let you know how it goes...

Fourth of july

this was our fourth of july celebration up in park city. here is the crazy gang, p-nut took the pic!
we stayed at the loges at deer valley, the place was awesome.
i always forget how gorgeous it is up there, you feel like you traveled
to another place far far away! we made dinned, went swimming and
watched the fire works down at the park to celebrated our wonderful
freedom!

we headed up to Park City for the 4th of July while Carlos headed to my friends house. some how she ended up with a few extra dogs so Carlos has six dogs to play with! this is what happens to english bulldogs after a day of play....
